As a contemporary, inspirational shaman, I envision women embracing the beauty and power of their sensuality, sexuality and it’s direct connection to spirituality to enhance every aspect of their lives. In doing this, they will have a deeper sense of self that can result in a healthier relationship with themselves, an enhanced sex life and a overall sense of self worth.

Affectionately called Diva Mama, Tonya is vocally vibrant, blending her profound and empowering messages with humor, insight and sage counsel in an entertaining folk wisdom style. Known as “The Wide Awake Feminine Liberator”, she has been lovingly referred to as Earth Mother and Global Diva because of her open heart, willingness to share and amazing visionary guidance in helping women realign their natural movement as the powerfully magnetic feminine energy they were born to be. As a former exotic dancer, who discovered the true essence of Diva Energy she states, “Connecting sensuality, sexuality and spirituality has changed my life dramatically. Never before have I enjoyed so much blissfulness.”

Seeking higher awareness, Tonya walked away from a secure well-paying job in the entertainment industry to become an independent researcher and was ordained as an inter-faith minister. She has assisted thousands of women for over 30 years with her transformational work as an Alternative Health Practitioner. Tonya has received honorary Doctorates in Divinity, Metaphysics and Motivation from the Universal Life Church. She later completed the 10 Moons Calendar Oracle with The Temple of Wombn.

Dr. Tonya’s holistic approach to life, coupled with her love and knowledge of the entertainment industry and natural talent as a dancer led her to create the Sexy Movement and Diva Danze classes in New York and Atlanta, building confidence and character in women through dance. The Sexy Movement classes birthed her organization Ladies Personified, which later evolved into The Art of Femininity, becoming an online source of inspiration, motivation and sharing with women around the world.

Some of Tonya’s courses, workshops and seminars include: Naked Confidence: Journey Of The Sensual Soul, The Sovereign Diva: Victim To Victorious, Ancient Mysteries For Modern Women, Womb Magic, Raped Not Ruined, Attracting Your Medicine Twin and Honoring Your Ancestors. She published an online edition of Spiral Dance News: Unfolding the Femi9 Woman from February 2003 to September 2004 and has appeared as a contributing writer with several articles to her credit published in Atlanta’s Oracle 20/20 metaphysical magazine. Tonya is also the co-founder of Mosa Radio Network, with her husband, Bill Pinder, where she hosted Wisdom Talks, a program on women’s empowerment and wellness, which consists of over 100 interviews in the archives. Tonya can currently be heard on her new talk show Tonya and Friends. Amongst her special productions she created Sexy Spirit Tips and a 30 Day Diva Dialogue. Diva Mama also appeared in the documentary The Journey of Rena’s Moan.

Dr. Tonya has been a guest on various radio broadcasts including; Cross Your Bridge with Alicia Waters, Love by Intuition with Deborah Beauvais and Feel and Look Fabulous with Irina Wardas. She also has been a speaker at Daughters of the Earth; African American Women Greet The New Millennium; Caribbean Women’s Group at Hunter College; the Feminine Rites Of Passage Programs held respectively by Ladies Of Color and The Shrine Of Ma’at; and Beyond The Global Divide Summit (Council Of Elders). Tonya is also an avid poet and has shared her sensually erotic poetry live in various venues.

Diva Mama produces Dancing Meditation and Visualization CDs and is currently working on her autobiographical book which speaks of her evolutionary journey through life.
